It is common to think that attributes like attention, concentration and distractibility are innate properties of a person’s thinking, brain or personality.

Hi Jeff,
That’s a great question. Many older adults become more easily distracted as they age and can benefit from attention training. Attention stamina and the ability to stay focused are necessary to improve immediate and working memory. Also, as they age, many adults tend to not be as mentally sharp as they used to be.

Whether people are or are not on medication to improve their memory, most can improve attention, memory and processing speed with a brain optimization program that designed specifically for them.
